first standalone version for UFS-3
for Motorola P2k

















1. INTRO
Moto Tools is service for Motorola P2k phones:
C380, C385, C650, C651
V180, V186, V220
V300, V303, V400, V500, V525, V600
V80
E398

Moto Tools service work with any Saras box (UFS-3, Twister, Tornado, N-box, PowerFlasher…)
USB hub must be present in your box (not work with UFS-2)


2. START-UP

To start using Moto Tools you need:
- any Saras box with built-in usb hub (UFS-3, Twister, Tornado, N-box, PowerFlasher…)
- registration file based on you hardware ID, system time, UFS serial number
- usb cables for connect phones (better use modified Vxxx cable)
- Moto Tool service SW
- user name and pass to access to support www
- installed on your PC P2k drivers

Generate act file using the program above and send it (check www.mototool.net for reseller list). Your reseller will send you email with reg file.

DON’T CHANGE YOUR SYSTEM TIME!!!
THIS CAN COUSE UNPREDICTABLE RESULT!!!




















3. Moto Tools RECOMMENDATION OVERVIEW


- all operation done in flash mode, so make modification your vXXX cable


- for phones with mini USB cable always connect phone already in flash mode (* # pwr)






- connect USB cable only in front UFS USB HUB !!!




- don’t play with your system time
- use Windows XP
- for best communication connect UFS to PC via USB 2.0 cable



- when you install drivers connect phone in flash mode
- always when this possible make backup SLZ
- always make backup SLZ when plane play with UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE SW in your PHONE


















4. Moto Tools OPERATIONS OVERVIEW

Start SW and you see:








- [Connect] / [Disconnect] press for connect or disconnect to your UFS-3 hardware
- [Read info] press for read info from connected phone
- [Read F] read flash from selected area (Flex, Language Package, Flash file)
- [Write F] write flash for desired area (Flex, Language Package, Flash file, SLZ)
- [Unlock] unlock SP or read User code depend from selected area (SP reset, User lock)
- [Read SLZ] read SLZ from phone
- [Write SLZ] write SLZ to phone
- [Combine] make your own flashes from selected files

Connect to your UFS-3 hardware



sw connect to your UFS-3, print info about your system time, HW ID and UFS-3 serial number

















Connect phone in flash mode:



SW inform you about:
- MSN
- BOOT version
- SW version in handset
- Flex version in handset
- Code group version













Read flash form handset (select region for read)



- select model
- select region for read
- press [Read F]















Unlock SP



- sw make automatic backup SLZ
- in this case I use unlocked phone so unlock not possible 


















Unlock User lock

Read SLZ



- read SLZ zone from your phone
